The ADS7886SBDBVR is a 12-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter from Texas Instruments' microPOWER™ series, sampling at 1 MSPS through a single-ended input. The SPI data interface keeps the pin count low; the converter communicates over just three or four lines, which suits space-constrained designs where the host MCU has a spare SPI port.
