16-bit sigma-delta ADC with PGA in SOT-23-6

Sampling rate and resolution trade-off
At 240 SPS the ADS1110A6IDBVT delivers full 16-bit resolution. That is a deliberate trade-off: the sigma-delta modulator oversamples and decimates to achieve 16 noise-free bits at this rate. If your application needs faster conversion — say 1 kSPS or above — you are looking at a different converter family (e.g. SAR). But for thermocouple, strain-gauge, or battery-voltage monitoring, 240 SPS is more than adequate and the noise performance is excellent.
PGA and input flexibility
The PGA amplifies small differential signals before the sigma-delta modulator. The selectable I²C address lets you place up to eight of these ADCs on the same two-wire bus.
The SOT-23-6 package is a 6-pin surface-mount footprint that fits into tight PCB layouts — useful when adding a precision ADC to an existing sensor interface without a board respin.
