240 SPS sampling — precision, not speed
The ADS1110A1IDBVR samples at 240 samples per second maximum — this is a low-speed, high-resolution converter designed for DC or slowly varying signals like temperature, pressure, or strain-gauge outputs. The sigma-delta architecture delivers 16-bit resolution without missing codes, but the 240 SPS ceiling means it cannot track audio-band or vibration signals.
The base product number ADS1110 covers the family; the A1 suffix selects the I²C address variant.
Differential or single-ended input with internal reference
The ADC accepts both differential and single-ended input configurations, selected through the I²C configuration register. The single input channel means this is a one-shot measurement node — not a multiplexed data-acquisition front end. For multi-channel systems, you either add an external mux or use multiple ADS1110 devices on the same I²C bus with different addresses.
