12-bit SAR ADC, 1 MSPS, 4-channel single-ended
The Texas Instruments ADC124S101CIMM is a 12-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) ADC that samples four single-ended inputs at 1 MSPS through an internal multiplexer. The SPI/DSP-compatible serial interface streams conversion results on a single data line, keeping the pin count to ten in the 10-VSSOP package.
Supply range and analog front-end flexibility
The reference is derived from the supply itself (Reference Type: Supply), meaning the full-scale range tracks the supply voltage — a 5 V rail gives a 0-5 V input span, while a 3.3 V rail scales it to 0-3.3 V. The 1:1 S/H-to-ADC ratio and SAR architecture deliver a clean sample-and-hold per channel without pipeline latency — useful for multiplexed sensor arrays where each channel needs a fresh conversion on demand.
