200k SPS in a six-pin SOT-23
The ADC081S021CIMF/NOPB is an 8-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) ADC from Texas Instruments that samples a single-ended input at 200k samples per second. The 8-bit resolution gives 256 quantization levels, so the LSB step is roughly 19.5 mV on a 5 V reference — adequate for monitoring battery voltage, potentiometer position, or a 0-10 V sensor after a divider. The reference type is supply, so the conversion result scales directly with the rail voltage.
SPI/DSP interface and SOT-23 reworkability
The SAR architecture means no pipeline latency — the conversion result for a given sample is available at the end of that conversion cycle, which simplifies real-time control loops.
