Dual buffer with 3-state outputs for mixed-voltage buses
Each of the two elements handles one bit, and the 3-state outputs let you disconnect the buffer from the bus when the output enable is deasserted — essential for shared data lines in multi-drop or bidirectional bus architectures. The supply range spans 1.65V to 5.5V, so the same part can interface a 1.8V microcontroller to a 3.3V or 5V peripheral without a separate level shifter. Output drive is rated 32mA for both high and low states, giving enough fan-out to drive a few CMOS loads or a short PCB trace without external buffers.
Temperature grade and package — industrial environments
The package is an 8-VFSOP (2.30 mm width) — a very thin, fine-pitch small-outline package that saves board area. The supplier device package is 8-VSSOP, which is the same body size (2.30 mm × 2.00 mm typical).
