Single-gate buffer for bus isolation and drive
It operates across a supply range of 2V to 5.5V, making it compatible with 3.3V and 5V logic rails commonly found in mixed-voltage designs. The output can be placed into a high-impedance state, allowing multiple devices to share a common bus line without contention.
No separate extended-temperature variant is needed for a motor drive or outdoor telecom panel.
Output drive and 3-state control
The 3-state output enable (OE) pin lets the designer float the output when the buffer is not actively driving the bus, preventing bus contention in multiplexed or shared-line architectures. This is a standard feature for address/data bus buffering or I/O expansion.
