What this single-gate buffer does on your board
The Texas Instruments 74AHC1G125DCKRG4 is a single-bit, non-inverting buffer with a 3-state output from the 74AHC high-speed CMOS family. It takes one input and drives one output with an active-low output enable (OE). When OE is high, the output goes high-impedance, letting multiple buffers share a bus without contention. Output drive is rated at 8 mA source and sink, enough for standard CMOS logic fan-out but not for driving a relay coil or LED directly.
No special cooling needed at the 8 mA output level, but the SC-70-5 package's thermal resistance means derating the output current above 85°C if you push continuous drive.
