The 74AC16244DGGR is a 4-element, 4-bit-per-element non-inverting buffer with 3-state outputs from the Texas Instruments 74AC series. The 48-TSSOP package (0.240" body width) fits a fine-pitch surface-mount layout — the 0.50 mm lead pitch demands a controlled impedance board for high-speed signals, but the 24 mA edge rate is manageable on a 4-layer stack.

ROHS3 compliant, so it ships without any of the six restricted substances above the threshold. The reel packaging (Tape & Reel or Cut Tape) suits both automated pick-and-place and small-run bench assembly. A board that sees 85°C ambient with the buffer driving 24 mA per output stays within the junction temperature limit as long as the copper pour under the TSSOP pad is adequate.
