Lifecycle and compliance
The 54F64FMQB is listed as Active in production status. Note that it is RoHS non-compliant — the hermetic ceramic package uses lead in the solder seal and termination finish. This part is exempt from RoHS for military/aerospace applications under the defense exemption, but it cannot be used in EU commercial/consumer products without a RoHS waiver.
Integration note: output drive and fan-out
The asymmetric output drive — 20mA source, 1mA sink — is typical of bipolar TTL logic. When driving CMOS inputs with high-impedance gates, the 1mA sink is plenty. But if the load is another bipolar TTL gate (input low current ~1.6mA per load), the 1mA sink limits fan-out to a single standard TTL load. Schmitt trigger input is not present (listed as No), so slow edges on the input signals need external hysteresis or a Schmidt-trigger gate upstream.
