NRND status and what it means for your BOM
The ACM4520V-231-2P-TL00: This is a formal lifecycle signal: the part remains available for existing production but is no longer qualified for new design-ins. For sustainment programs already using this filter, the NRND status means the supply window is finite.
230 Ω common-mode impedance at 100 MHz
The 230 Ω impedance at 100 MHz targets conducted EMI suppression on DC power rails — the common-mode choke presents high impedance to noise currents while passing the DC supply with minimal loss. Rated for 1.5 A continuous current with a maximum DCR of 50 mΩ. The DC resistance translates to 112.5 mW of self-heating at full rated current — negligible thermal impact in most layouts.
AEC-Q200 and 125°C operating ceiling
AEC-Q200 qualification means this filter passed the automotive-grade stress tests: thermal shock, moisture resistance, mechanical shock, and vibration per the passive-component qualification standard.
The four PC pads are arranged for the two-line common-mode topology — the input and output pairs are on opposite sides of the package. The horizontal orientation keeps the profile low for card-edge or mezzanine applications where vertical clearance is tight.
