Filtering a signal line at 270 Ohms
The TDK ACM3225-271-2P-T001 is a 2-line common mode filter from the ACM series, designed for signal line EMI suppression. It presents 270 Ohms of impedance at 100 MHz, the standard reference frequency for common mode choke performance on data and control lines. Rated for 300 mA continuous current with a maximum DC resistance of 300 mOhm, this filter is sized for low-power signal paths where insertion loss from series resistance must stay under a few hundred millivolts. The 20 VDC voltage rating covers typical 5 V, 12 V, and 15 V signal rails with margin for transients on a well-regulated bus.
Obsolete — sourcing through independent channels
For existing BOM lines, this part is available through independent surplus and broker channels. Quantities are lot-specific; availability and pricing are confirmed at the time of RFQ.
The Tape & Reel packaging suits automated pick-and-place assembly. The operating temperature range of -25°C to 85°C covers most indoor and telecom-grade environments but does not extend to automotive or extended industrial temperature zones.
