The LBC2518T680KV is a 68 µH wirewound inductor from Taiyo Yuden's LB, C Type series, built for general-purpose filtering and DC-DC converter output smoothing in compact surface-mount designs.
Parametric fit for filter and bias circuits
The self-resonant frequency of 9.5 MHz sets the upper bound for effective filtering — above this frequency the inductor behaves capacitively, so it is best suited for switching regulators switching below 2–3 MHz or for EMI suppression in that band. Inductance is tested at 2.52 MHz, a standard test frequency for this value range, and the ±10% tolerance gives predictable variation across temperature and bias current.
