What the 50 mA current rating means for your BOM
The LBC2518T471M is a 470 µH drum-core wirewound inductor from Taiyo Yuden's LB, C Type series, rated for 50 mA continuous current. If your load pulls more than 50 mA, the inductance starts to roll off and the core may saturate. The unshielded construction means the magnetic field couples into nearby traces and components — keep sensitive analog or RF circuitry at least one package width away from the 1007 (2518 Metric) footprint.

Self-resonant frequency and test conditions
