The LBC2518T470MV: The 47 µH inductance at 2.52 MHz test frequency with ±20% tolerance suits DC-DC converter output filters and power-supply decoupling where the tolerance band is acceptable. Rated 165 mA continuous – derate for ambient temperature above 85°C; the 2.47 Ohm max DCR produces about 67 mW self-heating at full current, which is negligible in most layouts.
Housed in a 1007 (2518 Metric) surface-mount package – 2.50 mm x 1.80 mm body, 2.00 mm seated height. The unshielded construction means magnetic flux couples into nearby traces; keep sensitive analog or RF routing at least one body width away. Self-resonant frequency is 12 MHz – above that the inductor behaves capacitively. For switching converters switching below 3–4 MHz the part stays inductive across the fundamental and first few harmonics.
