AEC-Q100 grade — what it means for the BOM
The TSV358IDT is an STMicroelectronics dual general-purpose op-amp with rail-to-rail output, qualified to AEC-Q100. That qualification is the hard gate for any automotive ECU, ADAS sensor module, or under-hood actuator driver: the OEM auditor will ask for PPAP documentation, and this part carries the series designation that supports it. The operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C covers engine-bay and chassis-mounted locations, not just cabin electronics.
1.4 MHz GBW and 0.6 V/µs slew — signal conditioning fit
With a gain-bandwidth product of 1.4 MHz and a slew rate of 0.6 V/µs, this part handles audio-band sensor conditioning, analog filtering up to a few hundred kHz, and slow-to-moderate actuator drive loops. The 80 mA output per channel can drive a small relay coil, an ADC reference buffer, or a piezo buzzer directly — no separate buffer stage needed. Rail-to-rail output swing is useful at the 2.5 V minimum supply, where headroom is tight.
Supply range and quiescent current
Supply span runs from 2.5 V to 6 V. Quiescent current is 500 µA per amplifier.
Package and mounting
Housed in an 8-SOIC (3.90 mm width) package, surface-mount. Tape & Reel or Cut Tape options suit both prototype and production reflow. The footprint is standard and shared with many general-purpose dual op-amps, simplifying PCB layout reuse.
Lifecycle and sourcing
The TSV358IDT carries an Active lifecycle status. It is ROHS3 compliant.
