Dual comparator for signal-conditioning loops
The TS3022IST is a dual general-purpose comparator from STMicroelectronics, designed for threshold detection, zero-crossing, and window-comparator circuits in mixed-signal boards where propagation delay and supply headroom matter. Its 105 ns maximum propagation delay suits signal-conditioning loops that need to settle within a few hundred nanoseconds — fast enough for overcurrent detection in a buck converter or level translation in a sensor interface.
Push-pull output, 79 dB CMRR
Typical common-mode rejection is 79 dB — adequate for single-supply sensor interfaces where the input common-mode voltage shifts with the signal, such as a thermistor bridge or a current-shunt amplifier.
The 8-MiniSO package (3.00 mm wide MSOP/TSSOP compatible) fits the footprint used by many dual op-amps and comparators, so a PCB layout originally designed for a different dual comparator often accepts the TS3022IST without a board spin.
Active lifecycle, ROHS3 compliant
ROHS3 compliant, so no restricted-substance exemptions to track for EU or global BOM compliance.
