Shunt reference for general-purpose regulation
Its internal bandgap delivers a nominal 2.495 V reference at the cathode, adjustable up to 36 V with two external resistors. The shunt topology means it sinks current through the cathode to regulate the output voltage – a workhorse for linear regulators, isolated flyback feedback loops, and comparator-based threshold detectors where a precision reference isn't required.
Active lifecycle – no last-time-buy worry
No EOL notice, no last-time-buy deadline to track. For procurement planning, this means no allocation scramble and no forced redesign for the foreseeable future.
Commercial temperature range – indoor use only
That covers office equipment, consumer electronics, and indoor power supplies. It is not specified for indus.
8-SOIC footprint – board layout fit
It fits automated pick-and-place assembly and reflow soldering. Tape & Reel and Cut Tape options are available for volume or prototype quantities.
