4 A RMS load capability with 600 V blocking
The T410-600T: Rated 4 A RMS on-state current (It(RMS)) with a 600 V off-state voltage, this triac switches resistive or inductive AC loads up to that current on 120 V or 240 V line voltages. The 30 A / 31 A non-repetitive surge rating (Itsm at 50/60 Hz) handles the inrush from incandescent lamps or small motors without exceeding the device's surge capability.
Logic-sensitive gate simplifies drive circuitry
With a maximum gate trigger current (Igt) of 10 mA and a gate trigger voltage (Vgt) of 1.3 V, the T410-600T's logic-sensitive gate can be driven directly from a microcontroller I/O pin or a low-power logic output, eliminating the need for a separate driver transistor or Darlington pair. The 15 mA maximum holding current (Ih) ensures the triac latches on once triggered and does not drop out with light loads.
TO-220-3 through-hole for heatsink mounting
Housed in a standard TO-220-3 through-hole package (supplier device package TO-220), the T410-600T mounts to a PCB or heatsink with a single screw through the metal tab. The junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C covers industrial and automotive ambient conditions, though the 4 A rating assumes adequate heatsinking — at full rated current the tab temperature rise must be managed to stay within the junction limit.
RoHS3 compliant, no special compliance documentation needed
STMicroelectronics lists the T410-600T as ROHS3 Compliant, meeting the EU RoHS directive without exemptions.
