Features that save power and bus bandwidth
The STTS751-1DP3F includes a one-shot conversion mode — you fire a single measurement and the part goes back to standby, drawing minimal current between reads. That is useful in battery-powered or energy-harvesting designs where the SMBus is polled infrequently. The programmable limit and output switch let the sensor assert an alert pin without the host controller polling the bus continuously, which reduces software overhead and bus traffic. Standby mode is the default after power-up; you have to write the configuration register to start continuous conversions.
Package and mounting — 6-UDFN on a 2x2 mm footprint
The part comes in a 6-lead UDFN package measuring 2x2 mm, surface-mount only.
ROHS3 compliant. For volume production or BOM freeze, this part carries no imminent obsolescence risk.
