600 V, 3 A, 35 ns trr — what this fast-recovery diode delivers
The STTH3R06RL is a 600 V, 3 A fast-recovery rectifier from STMicroelectronics, built with planar technology for low reverse recovery charge.
175°C junction — thermal headroom for compact builds
Rated for a maximum junction temperature of 175°C, this diode can handle higher power dissipation in a given package than a 150°C-rated part. In a DO-201AD axial-lead package, that thermal margin lets you shrink the heatsink or run at higher ambient temperatures without derating the 3 A average forward current.
Forward drop and leakage — conduction and standby loss
Maximum forward voltage is 1.7 V at 3 A, which sets the conduction loss floor at about 5.1 W at full rated current. Reverse leakage is 3 µA at 600 V — low enough to keep standby dissipation negligible in offline supplies. Both figures are specified at 25°C; expect Vf to increase and leakage to rise with junction temperature, so budget thermal margin accordingly.
Active production, ROHS3 compliant — no supply risk
It carries ROHS3 compliance, meaning no exempted substances under the EU RoHS directive.
