Key ratings at a glance
The 115 ns reverse recovery time (trr) places it in the fast-recovery class — suitable for switching power supplies, PFC boost stages, and flyback snubbers where reverse-recovery losses matter. Junction temperature rating goes to 175°C max, giving some headroom in thermally constrained layouts.
The tube shipping medium is noted, but the part is also available in tape-and-reel under related order codes. The tab is electrically connected to the cathode — keep that in mind for PCB layout and creepage distances at 1200 V.
Reverse leakage and high-voltage behaviour
Reverse leakage current is specified at 10 µA when the device is blocking 1200 V. That is a datasheet maximum at 25°C; expect leakage to increase with junction temperature, so derate accordingly in high-temperature environments. The fast-recovery classification (trr ≤ 500 ns at >200 mA) is confirmed by the 115 ns trr figure — well inside the class limit.
