The STTH3002CG is a dual common-cathode fast recovery diode array from STMicroelectronics, rated 200 V reverse and 15 A average forward per diode. The 22 ns reverse recovery time keeps switching losses low in continuous-conduction-mode PFC boost stages and output rectification in 200 V bus converters. The 1.05 V forward drop at 15 A sets the conduction loss floor — at full load each diode dissipates about 15.75 W, so the D2PAK tab must be tied to a copper plane sized for that thermal budget.
200 V blocking, 175 °C junction ceiling
The 200 V DC reverse rating covers 170 V PFC rails with margin. Junction temperature maxes at 175 °C — the designer derates the forward current above 100 °C case temperature per the datasheet curve. Reverse leakage at 200 V is 20 µA, negligible at room temperature but it doubles roughly every 10 °C rise; at 150 °C junction the leakage contribution to the thermal budget needs checking.
Active lifecycle, ROHS3, D2PAK footprint
ROHS3 compliant. The D2PAK (TO-263AB) footprint is a standard surface-mount power package; the exposed tab is the cathode common terminal.
