Dual fast-recovery diode in a power-SMD footprint
The STTH2003CGY-TR from STMicroelectronics is a 300 V, 10 A per-diode common-cathode fast-recovery rectifier array in the D²PAK (TO-263) surface-mount package. Its 40 ns reverse recovery time and 1.25 V forward voltage at 10 A make it a fit for continuous-conduction-mode PFC boost stages, output rectification in switched-mode supplies, and freewheeling diodes in motor-drive snubbers.
The 40 ns reverse recovery time keeps the stored charge low during commutation, which reduces turn-off losses and ringing in hard-switched topologies. The 20 µA reverse leakage at 300 V holds the off-state power dissipation to milliwatts at the bus voltage.
175°C junction — thermal headroom for tight enclosures
The D²PAK's exposed tab conducts heat to the PCB copper pour — the board's thermal resistance, not the die, sets the real current limit in continuous operation.
