Its 80 ns reverse recovery time (trr) puts it in the fast-recovery class, suited for high-frequency rectification, output diodes in switch-mode power supplies, and snubber circuits where recovery charge drives switching losses.
60 A per diode — thermal budget for the ISOTOP
At 60 A forward current the maximum forward voltage is 1.5 V, giving a conduction loss of 90 W per diode. The ISOTOP package is designed for this — the copper baseplate and M6 screw terminals let you bolt it to a heatsink with a low thermal resistance path. The 400 V blocking rating covers 230 VAC rectified rails with margin, and the 60 µA reverse leakage at 400 V (25 °C) stays manageable through the 150 °C junction temperature limit.
Two independent diodes in one package
The two independent diodes share the ISOTOP baseplate but are electrically isolated from each other. This lets you wire them as a center-tap full-wave rectifier, a dual output rectifier for split-rail supplies, or parallel them for a 120 A capability with matched Vf sharing. The common cathode or common anode configuration is not fixed — you choose the circuit topology.
