Chassis-mount dual diode for high-voltage power
The STTH12010TV1 is a fast recovery diode module from STMicroelectronics, housing two independent 60 A diodes in a single ISOTOP package rated for 1000 V reverse voltage. This is a standard-recovery-speed part — 115 ns trr — suited for hard-switched rectifier and freewheeling stages where turn-off losses matter.
Each of the two independent diodes is rated for 60 A average rectified current at a forward voltage drop of 2 V max at that current. The ISOTOP package's large baseplate and chassis mount are sized to pull that heat into a heatsink or cold plate.
115 ns reverse recovery — switching-speed reality
The 115 ns trr places this diode in the fast-recovery class (under 500 ns per the speed classification). In a hard-switched boost PFC or output rectifier, that recovery charge dictates the turn-off loss and the snubber network needed to clamp the voltage overshoot. The 20 µA reverse leakage at 1000 V is a room-temperature figure; expect it to rise with junction temperature up to the 150°C max rating.
ISOTOP package — mounting and thermal path
The ISOTOP package is a screw-mount, chassis-mount module with a metal baseplate for direct heatsink attachment. The two diodes share the same baseplate, so the thermal impedance to the heatsink is common — derate the total power dissipation if both diodes run at full current simultaneously. The package is supplied in Tube form.
