600 V, 5 A fast-recovery dual diode in D2PAK
The STMicroelectronics STTH10LCD06CG-TR is a 600 V, 5 A per diode fast-recovery rectifier in a common-cathode pair configuration, housed in a D2PAK (TO-263AB) surface-mount package. It is designed for high-frequency switching applications where reverse recovery time and low leakage matter — think power-factor-correction boost stages, output rectification in switch-mode supplies, and freewheeling diodes in motor drives. The 50 ns trr keeps switching losses down in continuous-conduction-mode PFC, and the 1 µA reverse leakage at 600 V helps hold standby power within limits.
ST has marked the STTH10LCD06CG-TR as obsolete. That means no further production runs; any remaining inventory in the channel is last-buy stock. For a new design, you will need to qualify a replacement. For a board in production, plan a last-time buy or transition to a substitute before your stock runs dry.
A 2 oz copper pour of at least 6 cm² per diode is a reasonable starting point for continuous 5 A operation.
