The 725 mV forward drop at 1 A is typical for a 100 V Schottky at this current density; expect the drop to rise with temperature, so budget conduction loss accordingly in the thermal calculation.
Leakage and switching — the no-recovery-time claim
Reverse leakage is 1.7 µA at 100 V, which is low for a 100 V Schottky and keeps standby drain negligible in always-powered automotive modules. The 'No Recovery Time > 500 mA' speed rating means this diode exhibits negligible reverse-recovery charge — it switches off essentially instantaneously, which matters in high-frequency DC-DC converters where recovery losses would otherwise dominate.
SOD-123F — small footprint, thermal care needed
The SOD-123F package is a surface-mount, low-profile body roughly 2.6 mm × 1.6 mm. At 1 A continuous, the copper pad area on the PCB sets the junction-to-ambient thermal resistance — a minimal land pattern will push junction temperature toward the 175°C limit under full load. For designs running near 1 A, a flooded cathode pad with thermal vias to an inner-layer plane is recommended.
