Dual Schottky in a DPAK — OR-ing and freewheeling for 12 V automotive rails
The fast recovery time — ≤500 ns at >200 mA — suits it for high-frequency rectification in DC-DC converters, freewheeling diodes in inductive loads, and OR-ing diodes in redundant power supplies. The 630 mV typical forward drop at 3 A keeps conduction losses manageable in a compact DPAK footprint.
40 V blocking, 3 A per leg — thermal and electrical headroom
Each of the two Schottky diodes in the common-cathode pair handles 3 A continuous (average rectified). The 40 V reverse voltage rating provides margin for 12 V automotive systems where load-dump transients can push the bus above 30 V.
