Dual Schottky for high-frequency power rectification
The STPS61L60CW is a dual Schottky rectifier from STMicroelectronics, pairing two 60 V, 30 A diodes in a common-cathode configuration inside a single TO-247-3 through-hole package.
Forward drop and conduction loss at 30 A per leg
The TO-247-3 package's large copper tab is sized to pull that heat into a heatsink. Reverse leakage is specified at 800 µA at 60 V reverse voltage, junction temperature unspecified in the listing but typically at 25 °C or 125 °C per datasheet convention. Leakage doubles with every 10 °C rise above 100 °C junction, so the thermal budget for the heatsink must account for leakage-induced losses at the 150 °C maximum junction temperature.
