45 V, 20 A common-cathode Schottky pair — rectifier stage workhorse
Forward voltage and conduction loss at 20 A
The forward voltage is specified at 530 mV maximum at 20 A per diode. This is the figure to plug into the conduction loss calculation for the rectifier stage: at 20 A, each diode dissipates roughly 10.6 W, which drives the heatsink requirement. The 45 V reverse blocking suits 24 V and 12 V bus architectures with adequate derating margin.
Junction temperature ceiling and thermal derating
The maximum junction temperature is 150°C. The reverse leakage at 45 V is 600 µA, which climbs with temperature and adds to the standing power loss.
The part is ROHS3 compliant.
