45 V, 20 A per diode — common cathode pair
This Schottky rectifier array contains two diodes in a common-cathode configuration, each rated for 20 A average rectified current (Io) at a 45 V reverse voltage. The 45 V Vr(max) suits 12 V and 24 V automotive bus rails with headroom for load-dump transients that stay below the breakdown margin. Forward voltage drop is 530 mV max at 20 A per diode — the Schottky barrier keeps conduction losses lower than a pn-junction diode at the same current, which matters for thermal management in a sealed D²PAK package on a PCB with limited copper area.
D²PAK footprint and junction temperature range
Supplied in a TO-263-3 (D²PAK) surface-mount package, the exposed tab must be soldered to a copper plane for thermal dissipation — the junction temperature range is -40°C to 150°C, covering the full automotive ambient envelope. The package footprint matches standard D²PAK land patterns; no special pad geometry beyond the datasheet recommendation. Reverse leakage at 45 V is 600 µA — typical for a 20 A Schottky at this voltage grade. Leakage doubles with temperature, so the thermal pad design and airflow affect the actual leakage at operating temperature.
