The STPS3L45AF is a 45 V, 3 A Schottky barrier rectifier in a surface-mount SMAflat package. The 45 V reverse rating provides headroom for a 24 V DC rail or a 12 V AC secondary rectifier; the 300 µA reverse leakage at 45 V is typical for a Schottky of this die size.
Switching speed and thermal budget
Rated as fast recovery ≤500 ns at >200 mA, this diode handles moderate-frequency rectification without the reverse-recovery losses of a PN junction. The maximum junction temperature is 150 °C. The SMAflat package's thermal resistance depends on the copper pad area on the PCB.
