Leakage and speed — the standby and switching edges
Reverse leakage is specified at 1 µA at the full 100 V blocking voltage — a tight figure for a 3 A Schottky. In a battery-powered OR-ing or reverse-polarity protection circuit, this leakage contributes directly to the quiescent draw; at 100 V it adds under 100 µW to the standby budget. The speed classification is Fast Recovery ≤500 ns at >200 mA, which for a Schottky is a given — the majority-carrier structure inherently switches faster than that. The spec confirms it is not a slow-recovery or standard-recovery part, so it fits in high-frequency rectification stages like flyback secondary-side or PFC boost diodes where reverse-recovery charge would otherwise cause losses.
