3 A Schottky in a DPAK footprint
The STPS340B-TR: Rated for fast recovery under 500 ns at currents above 200 mA, this is a standard-speed Schottky for switch-mode power supply output rectification and freewheeling paths where the switching frequency stays below a few hundred kilohertz.
Reverse leakage and thermal budget
At 40 V reverse bias, the leakage current is 20 µA typical at 25 °C junction. Schottky leakage doubles with every 10 °C rise, so at 100 °C junction the leakage may reach several milliamps — enough to shift the thermal balance in a lightly loaded rail if the heatsinking is marginal. The junction temperature limit is 150 °C maximum.
Active production, ROHS3 compliant
Supplied on tape and reel — the TR suffix denotes 2500 units per reel, the standard DPAK carrier.
