60 V, 30 A common-cathode Schottky — the dual-diode for high-frequency rectification

The 60 V reverse voltage rating sets the maximum DC bus voltage at 48 V with derating for transients — typical for a 48 V telecom rectifier or a 36 V battery charger. Each diode handles 15 A continuous; the common-cathode pair in a TO-247-3 lets you wire two independent outputs or one center-tapped winding with a shared cathode tab, keeping the thermal path through the backside of the package. At 15 A the 600 mV Vf produces 9 W per diode — plan the heatsink interface and forced airflow for a combined 18 W dissipation worst-case. The fast recovery ≤500 ns is sufficient for switching frequencies up to about 100 kHz; above that, a lower-Qrr Schottky or SiC diode would be needed to keep switching losses in check.
