Each diode is rated for 45 V reverse voltage and delivers 15 A average rectified current at a forward voltage of 570 mV maximum. That 570 mV at 15 A sets the conduction loss per leg — at full load each diode dissipates roughly 8.6 W, so the thermal path through the D²PAK tab to the PCB copper plane is the design variable that determines real-world current capability.
AEC-Q101 gate: under-hood and chassis-domain ready
This part carries AEC-Q101 qualification, placing it in the automotive-grade tier for discrete semiconductors. The 200 °C maximum junction temperature rating gives additional thermal headroom over standard 150 °C Schottky parts, which matters when the diode shares a heatsink with a switching FET or sits in a high-ambient engine-bay environment.
Common-cathode pair: the topology that saves board space
The two diodes share a common cathode (pin 2 and tab), with independent anodes on pins 1 and 3. This is the standard pinout for center-tap full-wave rectification and for OR-ing diodes in redundant power feeds — one package replaces two discrete SMD Schottkys, cutting placement cost and board area.
