150 V, 15 A Schottky pair in a fully insulated tab
The STPS30150CFP from STMicroelectronics is a dual common-cathode Schottky rectifier rated for 150 V reverse voltage and 15 A average forward current per diode. The 920 mV forward voltage at 15 A sets the conduction-loss floor for a centre-tapped secondary rectifier or an OR-ing diode in a redundant power supply.
Forward drop and leakage at the thermal limits
At the rated 15 A per diode, the 920 mV forward drop is the number you use for the I²R conduction loss in the heatsink calculation. The reverse leakage at 150 V is 6.5 µA at 25 °C — but in a Schottky, leakage doubles every 10–15 °C above the reference. At 125 °C junction, expect that leakage to rise into the milliamps, which adds a standing loss term that can dominate the thermal budget in a lightly loaded or standby rail. The TO-220FP full-pack package means the tab is electrically isolated, so you bolt it directly to the chassis or heatsink without an insulating pad — one fewer BOM line and no assembly step for the washer.
