The STPS2H100ZF is a 100 V reverse, 2 A average rectified Schottky diode from STMicroelectronics, part of the ECOPACK®2 series. Its fast recovery characteristic — ≤500 ns at >200 mA — means it handles switching without the reverse-recovery tail that slows a standard rectifier.
175 °C junction — the thermal headroom that matters
The 175 °C junction rating provides thermal headroom in a cramped enclosure or under a heat-sinkless layout. The SOD-123F package is small, so the copper pad area on the PCB sets the thermal resistance.
Forward drop and leakage — the efficiency trade-off
At 4 A forward current the maximum forward voltage is 960 mV — the worst-case conduction loss at the peak pulsed current. Reverse leakage is 1 µA at 100 V, low enough for a battery-powered rail.
Active status and compliance — no LTB clock ticking
The ECOPACK®2 designation means the package materials meet ST's halogen-free and antimony-free criteria, which simplifies the compliance declaration for the end product.
