45 V, 10 A per diode Schottky array
The STPS2045CG-TR is a dual Schottky rectifier from STMicroelectronics, configured as a common-cathode pair in a single D²PAK package.
Forward drop and switching speed
Maximum forward voltage is 570 mV at 10 A per diode. At that current, conduction loss per diode is 5.7 W — the D²PAK tab carries the heat to the board copper, so the junction-to-ambient thermal path depends on the pad area. The device is classified as Fast Recovery (≤ 500 ns, > 200 mA), which covers the typical switching frequencies in offline and DC-DC converters without the reverse-recovery losses of a pn-junction diode. Reverse leakage is specified at 100 µA maximum at 45 V. At elevated junction temperatures, leakage increases — the 175 °C maximum junction rating means the thermal design should keep TJ below that ceiling under worst-case load and ambient.
Package and board integration
The footprint matches the standard D²PAK land pattern — the tab is the main current and thermal path. The tape-and-reel option suits automated assembly; the cut-tape variant is available for prototyping.
It is fully RoHS3 compliant, with no exemptions that would block EU-market builds.
