Two 100 A Schottky diodes in one ISOTOP module
The STPS200170TV1 packs two independent 170 V, 100 A Schottky diodes into a single ISOTOP baseplate module. Each diode handles 100 A average rectified current (Io) with a forward voltage drop of 830 mV at that current — the conduction loss is predictable for a high-current OR-ing or output rectifier stage. The 170 V reverse rating covers 48 V and 72 V bus rails with margin, though the 200 µA leakage at rated voltage doubles roughly every 10 °C above 25 °C — at the 150 °C junction limit the leakage contribution to the thermal budget needs a derating check.
Chassis-mount package — bolt it to the heatsink
The ISOTOP package (Supplier Device Package ISOTOP®) is a bolt-down module with a copper baseplate. No PCB footprint for the power path — the terminals are screw or solder lug connections, and the baseplate mounts directly to a heatsink with thermal compound. Rework means unbolting the whole module, not lifting a component from a board. The package ships in a tube. The dual-diode configuration gives two independent rectifiers in one mechanical footprint, saving panel space compared to two separate TO-247 or similar packages.
