100 V, 5 A per diode — where the thermal margin lives
The STPS10H100CG-TR is a dual Schottky rectifier in a common-cathode pair, rated 100 V reverse and 5 A average per diode in a D2PAK surface-mount package.
Forward drop and leakage — the efficiency trade-off
Forward voltage is 730 mV maximum at 5 A per diode. Reverse leakage at 100 V is 3.5 µA.
ROHS3 compliant — no exemptions for lead in solder or plating. The D2PAK (TO-263) footprint is standard for a 2-lead-plus-tab surface-mount power package, and the tape-and-reel variant (TR suffix) is the common production reel.
What the 175°C junction buys you
That 175°C Tj max is the spec that separates this part from a garden-variety 150°C Schottky. In a 10 A output rectifier running at 100 kHz, the switching and conduction losses push junction temperature 30–40°C above ambient. With 175°C headroom you can run at 85°C ambient without derating the output current, which a 150°C part would require.
