What this Schottky rectifier is rated for
The STPS1045SFY is an Automotive-grade Schottky diode from STMicroelectronics, rated 45 V reverse voltage and 10 A average forward current, with a fast recovery time of ≤ 500 ns above 200 mA. It is AEC-Q101 qualified, making it suitable for automotive power-supply and reverse-protection circuits where the OEM auditor expects a PPAP-ready device.
Reverse leakage is 50 µA at 45 V rated reverse voltage — this leakage doubles roughly every 10 °C above 25 °C, so the thermal pad area on the TO-277A (SMPC) package must be sized to keep junction temperature below 150 °C under sustained load.
The series is ECOPACK®2, RoHS3 compliant, with no restricted substances in the junction coating or lead finish.
