10 A Schottky in a compact PowerFlat package
The STPS1045DEE-TR is a 45 V, 10 A Schottky rectifier from STMicroelectronics, housed in an 8-PowerTDFN PowerFlat package measuring 3.3x3.3 mm. It is designed for low forward voltage drop — 590 mV typical at 10 A — which keeps conduction losses down in a tight board area.
Forward drop and thermal headroom
At 10 A forward current the Vf is 590 mV, giving a conduction loss of about 5.9 W at full load. Reverse leakage at 45 V is 200 µA typical — a reasonable figure for a 10 A Schottky. It rises with temperature, so at high junction temps the leakage contribution to the thermal budget needs a quick check.
