Product details

Production stopped — sourcing through independent channels

STMicroelectronics has marked the STPS1045B as Obsolete.

45 V, 10 A Schottky — forward drop and leakage

A 45 V reverse-voltage Schottky rectifier rated for 10 A average forward current (Io) in continuous conduction. The forward voltage is 630 mV maximum at the full 10 A rating — this sets the conduction loss floor in a power supply output or OR-ing application. Reverse leakage is specified at 100 µA at the 45 V blocking voltage; Schottky leakage doubles with junction temperature, so the 175 °C maximum junction rating means the leakage term dominates the thermal budget at high ambient.

DPAK surface-mount — board-fit note

Supplied in the TO-252-3 (DPAK) package, also known as SC-63, with two leads plus the tab. The tab also carries the output current, so the PCB trace width from the tab to the load must be sized for the full 10 A without exceeding a 30 °C temperature rise.
