The STMicroelectronics STM8S903K3T3C is an 8-bit microcontroller from the STM8S value-line family, built around the STM8 core running at 16 MHz. It packs 8 KB of Flash program memory, 1K x 8 of RAM, and 640 x 8 of EEPROM — enough for sensor fusion, motor commutation logic, or simple HMI control loops without external storage. The internal oscillator trims the external crystal cost from the BOM.

With 28 I/O lines in a 32-LQFP (7x7 mm) package, this MCU leaves four pins for power and ground. That I/O count supports a row of pushbuttons plus an LED matrix, or a parallel interface to a character LCD, while keeping the board area under 50 mm². The surface-mount LQFP is hand-solderable with a fine-tip iron but benefits from a hot-air rework station for removal.
