What the 24 MHz core and 64 KB Flash mean for your BOM
The 24 MHz clock is the internal oscillator's top speed; you can run the core at that rate without an external crystal, cutting two BOM lines. At that frequency the Flash controller needs zero wait states for most sequential access, so interrupt latency stays deterministic — important for edge counting or PWM update loops.
The on-chip peripherals include a 9-channel 10-bit ADC, PWM timers, a watchdog, and brown-out reset — enough to run a BLDC commutation loop or a LINbus node without an external supervisor.
Housed in a 44-pin LQFP with 34 I/Os, it gives enough GPIO for a keypad matrix, a small character LCD, and a few sensor interrupts. No exposed pad — thermal dissipation goes through the leads, so keep the copper pour under the body modest.
