The STMicroelectronics STM8S207R8T6C is an 8-bit MCU from the STM8S family, built around the STM8 core running at 24 MHz. It packs 64 KB of program Flash, 6 KB of RAM, and 1.5 KB of data EEPROM — enough headroom for moderate control firmware, bootloader staging, and calibration tables without external memory. The 52 GPIOs and 16-channel 10-bit ADC make it a natural fit for industrial sensor nodes, motor-control interfaces, and human-machine interface panels where the peripheral count matches the I/O budget.
Internal oscillator is built in, which saves a crystal BOM line for non-timing-critical applications; when you need tighter accuracy, the external clock input is available through the UART/USART and SPI interfaces.
