The 68 general-purpose I/O pins, packed into an 80-LQFP package, give it the headroom for parallel sensor arrays, keypad matrices, and display interfaces that would crowd a smaller-footprint MCU.
Industrial temperature grade and peripherals
On-chip peripherals include a 16-channel 10-bit ADC, brown-out detect, POR, PWM timers, and a watchdog — enough to handle sensor acquisition, pulse-width modulation for motor or LED control, and system supervision without external supervisor ICs.
