STM8L152M8T7 — 8-bit MCU for power-conscious designs
The STMicroelectronics STM8L152M8T7 is an 8-bit microcontroller from the STM8L EnergyLite series, built around the STM8 core and clocked at 16MHz. It carries 64KB of Flash program memory, 4K x 8 of RAM, and 2K x 8 of EEPROM, giving it enough room for moderate firmware and non-volatile parameter storage without an external memory chip. The 80-LQFP package exposes 68 I/O lines, and the on-chip analog peripherals include a 28-channel 12-bit ADC and two 12-bit DACs — useful for sensor acquisition or control-loop output without adding external converters.
For serial communication it supports I2C, IrDA, SPI, and UART/USART — enough to talk to common sensors, displays, and module peripherals on a mixed-signal board.
The MCU operates from 1.8V to 3.6V supply, fitting single-cell Li-ion or two-cell alkaline battery rails directly.
